Ms. Tang previously served as the In-house Counsel for North America at a globally recognized restaurant group, where she provided legal counsel and training to national managers and various business divisions. She was responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documents, as well as offering strategic legal support in high-stakes business negotiations. Additionally, she played a key role in handling business and employment litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution, while identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks to ensure regulatory adherence across the group’s operations.

Prior to this role, Ms. Tang spent nearly a decade advising a diverse portfolio of clients, including multinational corporations, private equity funds, and high-tech startups, assisting them in successfully entering and expanding within the U.S. market. Her clientele spans a broad range of industries, including food and beverage, sports and fitness, information technology, logistics and warehousing, wholesale and retail, and e-commerce.

Ms. Tang specializes in structuring and optimizing the legal frameworks of overseas business operations. She has extensive experience drafting shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and other investment-related legal documents. Additionally, she routinely reviews and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts, including lease agreements, employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, asset purchase agreements, licensing agreements, and service agreements. In M&A, she plays a critical role in structuring transactions, conducting legal due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and overseeing the successful execution of deals.

In addition, Ms. Tang possesses substantial expertise in U.S. business immigration law, having assisted numerous corporations in devising strategic immigration plans for their executives, specialized knowledge transferees, and highly educated foreign professionals. She represents corporate clients in employment-based immigration matters, including EB-1C, EB-2 NIW, and EB-2/3 PERM petitions, as well as work authorization petitions such as H-1B, O-1, and L-1. Her comprehensive approach ensures immigration compliance while facilitating seamless global talent mobility.

1、Overseas Expansion and California Start-up / Venture Capital Projects

·Advised a century-old restaurant brand from Hubei, China on its market entry and business expansion in the United States. Provided comprehensive legal services covering corporate establishment, franchise platform design and structuring, risk isolation between stores and the management company, state-by-state operational analysis, FDD filing requirements, and visa and compensation strategies for executives and technical staff.

·Represented a China-based publicly listed cross-border logistics company in the execution of its U.S. market expansion strategy. Assisted with the formation of management offices and warehouse facilities on the West Coast, Midwest, and East Coast, and advised on executive visa arrangements and employee incentive plan compliance.

·Served as lead counsel to multiple supply chain management and cross-border logistics enterprises in connection with long-term commercial real estate leases in California and New York. Led contract negotiations and optimized transaction structures to ensure legal compliance and commercial efficiency.

·Conducted tailored compliance training for the management team of a prominent Hunan cuisine restaurant chain, focusing on employee recruitment and management, wage and hour compliance, employment eligibility, executive and technical staff visa planning, risk management, and compliance program development.

·Drafted, reviewed, and updated employment-related documentation—including employment agreements, employee handbooks, incentive plans, separation agreements, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements, independent contractor agreements, and cooperation contracts—for clients in industries such as biopharmaceuticals, semiconductors, media, automation, food services, e-bikes, staffing, and technology consulting.
